CHINA RESOURCES<00291> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of China Resources Enterprise, Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(19/4/2007) pending the publication of an announcement by the Company 
relating to a major transaction.
